The Knight in the Panther's Skin – Handwritten Book (2014)

The modern Georgian manuscript of the poem “The Knight in the Panther's Skin” was created in 2014 by a group of 7 calligraphers led by Levan Chaganava.

Calligraphers: Levan Chaganava, Rusudan Sukhashvili, Nino Chkhvimiani, Tsira Bulashvili, Abo Akhvlediani, Nino Ikashvili, Nino Tabatadze.

Ornament painting: Levan Chaganava, Nino Tabatadze.

Characteristics of the handwritten book:

The manuscript is made in the classical style of Georgian calligraphy.

400 pages. 120 ornamental decorations. Size: 21 x 29 cm. ink, tempera.

The book is not bound, due to the possibility of displaying the pages in picture frames at art exhibitions.
